Now and "forever"- here's how to future-config your BlackBerry calendar

Like to plan ahead? Good life skill to have, IMHO.

BlackBerry users who "plan ahead" might want to read the newly posted BlackBerry Technical Knowledge Center document entitled "How To - Configure the calendar to synchronize future items or items that fall within a range of days."

By "range of days," we are talking about, oh, 15, 30, ..and literally up until forever.

Your options are the most robust if you are running BlackBerry OS 4.0 or above.

In that case you would want to future-config your BlackBerry calendar by performing the following five steps:

  1. On the BlackBerry device Home screen, click Calendar.
  2. Click the trackwheel and select Options.
  3. Select the Keep Appointments field, click the trackwheel, and select Change Option.
  4. Select one of the following choices:
    15 Days
    30 Days
    60 Days
    90 Days
    Forever
  5. Click the trackwheel and select Save.
