Like many of you, I received a BlackBerry Enterprise Server for Microsoft Exchange v4.1 Service Pack2 upgrade offer via email today.
Enhancements included in the upgrade:
- IT policy support for camera features, VMWare support, .wav file attachment and playback support
- Role and group based administration features that make it easier to delegate and align tasks while ensuring strict access control
- Wireless instant messaging with support for Microsoft Live Communications Server 2005 and Office Communicator
- Enhanced support for PowerPoint and document viewing and more
Purchase options cited include:
Buy an annual Technical Support Services subscription starting at $875 and the upgrade is free.
Buy the upgrade for $999.
Links to both options are on the page you'll get to if you click the Read link below this post.

1. Got it.
Also received many notifications that RIM was experiencing outages today resulting in BIS customers across the Americas (maybe the globe) being affected. Apparently, service is back up as all users seem to be getting the "Congratulations!" that their email accounts are now setup.
That deserves it's own headline...
